- KINGS COUNTY: Busby McMahon Bridge
--Traffic on the Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic lights are in place.

- HANTS COUNTY
Route 215 from Mosher Road to Urbania, approximately 6.5 kmboth lanes. Road Repair will begin May 7, 2012 and end approximately August 31, 2012. Motorists are advised to reduce speed. Traffic Control Persons will be on site. Be prepared to stop and to expect 10-15 minute delays. Contractor will begin ditching and culvert replacements followed by cold planing and paving.

Welsford Bridge, 100 metres from the West Branch Road on the Old Pictou Road, will have day closures until Monday, May 14, for repairs. Detour in place. Work takes place from 8 am to 4 pm

PICTOU COUNTY:
--HIGHWAY 104 Twinning Project:-Route 245, Trunk 4 and Thorburn Road, near Exit 27, Highway 104, will be periodical reduced to one lane for realignment and paving work for the Highway 104 Twinning Project. Construction is expected to be finished by Saturday, June 30. Traffic control consist of a signs and control people on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

--Brookland Road is closed at the intersection of the Six Mile Brook Rd, due to washouts. Closure is expected to be in place until summer
--Road Closed at Weir's Bridge on Shore Road at Pictou. Two paved detour routes are available, R. Grant Road and Shore Road, and a gravel road Detour on Otter Road.

-Pinkietown Bridge in Ohio will be closed for repairs from Monday, May 14 until Friday, May 25. Detour on Ohio Lake Road and Ohio East Road.
-Lower South River Bridge will be reduced to one lane for repairs from Thursday, Sept. 15, to Aug. 31, 2012. Traffic control on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

- GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316
--Route 316, between Middle Country Harbour and Stormont, will be reduced to one lane for re-paving until Thursday, May 31. A pilot vehicle and traffic control people are on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
---The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built. The speed limit has been reduced to 60 kilometres per hour and warning signs are in place.

Les travaux seront terminés le jeudi 31 mai. Les travaux ont lieu de 7 h à 19 h, du lundi au samedi. La circulation est dirigée par des signaleurs et un véhicule pilote.
-Le pont de Melford Brook sur la route 344 a Middle Melford est ferme. Un pont temporaire a deux voies a ete installe jusqu'a la construction du pont permanent. La vitesse limite a ete reDduite a 60 km/h et des panneaux d'avertissement sont en place.

The St. Peter's Canal Swing Bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions for 30 minute intervals from 10 pm to 6 am from Sunday, May 13 to Friday, May 18, 2012 inclusive for repairs. Parks Canada regrets any inconvenience this may cause the travelling public.

--Traffic on the MacLeod Angus Bridge in South Harbour over the South Aspy River on the Cabot Trail, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic signals are in place at the bridge.
