  • ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Bear River Bridge
    Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Bear River Bridge, Highway 101 located 7.3km east of Exit 26 Conway. Traffic lights in use. Expect delays of 10 to 20 minutes.

    La circulation sera réduite à une voie sur le pont de Bear River, situé sur l'autoroute 101 à 7,3 km à l'est de la sortie 26 à Conway. Des feux de circulation seront installés. Prévoyez des retards de 10 à 20 minutes.

  • ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Route 201
    - Route 201, from Paradise Lane, west to Mount Hanley, will be reduced to one lane for asphalt removal, patching, crack and chip sealing until September 18. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    - Route 201, from Lawrencetown East to Nictaux, will be repaved until September 18. Expect delays.
    - Shore Road West from Parker Mountain Road, east for about four kilometres to Young's Cove will be reduced to one lane for chip sealing from until September 18. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • ANNAPOLIS COUNTY:
    TRUNK #10 REPAVING from North Ridge Road northerly 4.5 KM expect delays
    TRUNK #10 REPAVING from Route 201 to Varnier Mountain Rd 2.8km
    ROUTE 362 REPAVING Mosher Hill Northerly 1.0 km
    SPA SPRING REPAVING from Route 362 to Bridge 0.50km
    Route 201 REPAVING from Old Mill road easterly 0.50 km

  • LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 3
    Trunk 3 between Bridgewater town line easterly 7.4km will have road construction until approx. September 17th. The road will be reduced to one lane. Be prepared to stop.

    LUNENBURG COUNTY: Route 325
    Route 325 will be reduced to one-lane traffic with flagpersons until approx. September 17th. from Bridgewater town line northerly 8.4km. Be prepared to stop.

    LUNENBURG COUNTY: Logan Road
    Logan Road will be reduced to one lane traffic with flagpersons until approx. September 17th from Route 325 northerly to Bridgewater town line 1.2km. Be prepared to stop.

  • HANTS COUNTY, Route 236, from the East Hants Municipal Line to Station Road in Scotch Village, will be reduced to one lane, starting Monday, September 6, 2010 to September 30, 2010.
    Be prepared to stop, traffice control persons will be on site.
    HANTS COUNTY:
    Bennery Road in Upper Rawdon is closed.

  • CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Northport Bridge
    Northport Bridge on Route 366 will be closed starting Thursday April 1 at 10 a.m. until further notice for bridge replacement. Detour from Shinimicas Road to the east of the bridge and Mudcreek Road to the west of the bridge. Local Area Office: 902-667-2972

    CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Ferry Road
    The Ferry Road will have temporary signals until October 31.

    CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Pumping Station Road
    Pumping Station Road will be closed between Civic #95 and #163 from August 30-September 30. All traffic must use alternate routes.

  • COLCHESTER COUNTY:
    Work has begun on Rte 326 from Earltown to MacBains' Corner. Traffic will be reduced to one lane for ditching, installation of cross culverts, widening, cold plaing and paving. Work will take place from sunrise to sunset and will continue through until Sept. 30th.
    Work will begin on Rte 311 on Wednesday, Sept 1 til Sept 10th. Traffic will be reduced to one lane starting at MacCallum's Settlement Road at the junction of Rte 311. Paving, shoulder gravelling and guardrail installation. Reduced speed traffic control on site, expect delays.

    COMTÉ DE COLCHESTER:
    La circulation sur la route 326, de Earltown à MacBains Corner, sera réduite à une voie jusqu'au jeudi 30 septembre pour permettre l'excavation de fossés, l'installation de ponceaux, l'élargissement, le planage et l'asphaltage. Les travaux seront effectués du lever au coucher du soleil.

    COLCHESTER COUNTY
    Work will begin August 4, 2010 to September 3, 2010 approximately on Tk 2, from Truro Town Line to Kennedy Road, Approximately 4.2 km. Paving will cause delays to traffic as it will be reduced to one lane with Traffic Control Persons on site. Sunrise to Sunset. Reduced speed.

    Mines Bass River Road Bridge will be closed beginning August 23rd to January 21, 2011. Local traffic only, detour in place.

    PICTOU COUNTY
    Work will begin on August 9th to September on Rte 376, from Pictou Rotary to Rte 256, approximately 5.0 km. Pipe work will cause traffic delays, reduced speed, lane reduction, reduced speed . Expect Delays. Traffic Control Personnel will be on site.
    Work on Rte 256 will be ongoing til October 31, 2010 for asphalt operations.

    CUMBERLAND COUNTY
    Work will begin August 4th for approximately three weeks. Phase 1 is construction of detour road for panel bridge for Fox Harbour Bridge. Fox Harbour Bridge is located approximately 200 m before the Fox Harbour Road At Fox Creek Watercourse in Cumberland County. Detour road to house the temporary panel bridge until new bridge is constructed. Traffic control on site. Temporary traffic signals will be in place until Oct. 31st. Single lane detour, expect delays and speed reduction will be in place.
    Traffic signals are up and running August 30th for the detour, one lane traffic. End date is Oct 31/2010.

  • VICTORIA COUNTY:
    Corson Bridge in Ingonish Harbour on the Cabot Trail is closed to one lane traffic. Traffic lights are installed to maintain the flow of traffic through the worksite. Motorists are urged to use caution.
    VICTORIA COUNTY- MEAT COVE
    Salmon River Bridge is open to all traffic. Work is still ongoing to repair damage caused by heavy rains. Traffic Control is being carried out on sections of the road and motorists are urged to use caution while travelling through this area. Department of Transportation Infrastructure Renewal regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
    INVERNESS COUNTY:
    Traffic Advisory- Crowdis Cross Road
    Reduced weight restriction of 5 tonne on Crowdis Cross Bridge from January 13/10 until further notice. Suggested detour routes-East or West Big Intervale Road and Cranton Cross Road.
